NYX Matte Lipsticks

First review ever! Yippee!!

Okay, so I'm here to tell you about NYX Matte Lipsticks. There are very few decent reviews on these lippies, and I don't know why.

I bought two colours - Shocking Pink and Sweet Pink.

Here's me wearing shocking pink. It's a beautiful, hot pink. Not for the faint hearted!

Texture: Matte, very dry
Pigmentation: Fantastic
Colour: Hot flamingo pink! 


 




Here's me wearing sweet pink. It's certainly not what I expected, so it's always best to check swatches first! It's still a lovely colour though.

Texture: Matte, very dry
Pigmentation: Fantastic!
Colour: A red-based pink, with purple undertones.






Packaging: Sleek. Black plastic with a clear middle to show shade

Price (AUD): $10.95 from Crush Cosmetics
Staying power: The product is quite drying, so it is recommended you moisturise lips before applying this lipstick. I found with moisturised lips, the staying power is about 3-4 hours. Without moisturizer it would be longer!

Summary: NYX has a huge reputation for great quality product at a low price. I cannot agree more in this case. The colour range is beautiful, there are 22 shades to choose from at a fantastic price.
